April 2017:

What: Magique Magic Show at Faena's dinner theater.  A true, modern-day magic show, filled with illusions, hand made costumes and a full orchestra. Featuring Madam Houdini.
When: Recurring throughout the month of April, every Sunday and Tuesday. Doors open at 7:00 PM, show starts at 8:00 PM.
Where: Faena's theater. If you've not been to a show here, I highly recommend it. It's got a great atmosphere, and Faena is definitely a sight to see. 
Tickets: $65 for adults (includes two glasses of house wine, two beers or two glasses of sparkling wine), $45 for children. Available here.

What: Earth Day meditation, with scheduled events and the opening of Modern OM Pop-up
When: Saturday, April 22nd.

  • 8:30AM: Tea prior to commencing meditation. Tea courtesy of David's Tea.
  • 9:00-9:45AM: meditation
  • 10:00-11:00AM: Opening of Modern OM with bites and drinks at Dr. Smood's.

What: Sprung Beer Festival! Miami's favorite beer festival is back in town, featuring over 300 craft beers, music and bites.  Confirmed breweries include: Cigar City, Angry Orchard, Civil Society, Congrete Beach, Laguintas (my favorite - oof), Sam Adams, Guiness, J Wakefield, J Dubbs, Knee Deep and more. 40 breweries are local! What: Wynwood BBQ Fest
The third annual Grillin' N Chillin' Wynwood BBQ Festival is back this year.  Picture a huge block party with food, drinks, featuring local chefs conducting cooking demos.  There's a family fun zone for the kids, too. Get your early access tickets here.
When: Sunday April 2nd, 2:30PM-7:00PM.
Where: RC Cola Plant, 550 NW 24 street, Wynwood.

What: Join fashion designer Carolina Herrera and friends for a charitable evening filled with a cocktail reception and photography exhibit to benefit FundaHigado America.  This foundation strives to provide education and equipment to underprivileged Latin American countries' hospitals and medical centers, so that they have the knowledge and training necessary to conduct pediatric liver transplants. 
When: Thursday, April 6th, 2017, 6:00PM-9:00PM
Where: Perez Art Museum

March 2017:

What: Cocktails and fashion with Jean-Claude Jitrois. Come catch a glimpse of the designers' leather designs.
