Dolce & Gabbana Matte Lipsticks Are Perfect For Fall

Dolce & Gabbana Beauty is less known in the beauty world, but it shouldn't be. My experience with the line has always been positive. I find the shadows to be soft, creamy and pigmented, while the lipsticks are rich with lots of color payoff.



The Dolce Gabbana Matte lipsticks are the perfect accessory for creating that perfect fall lip. They're luxuriously packaged, and come in firey red tones.  The shade Inferno is a deep hued purple that's very vampy.  I also like Desire, which is a deep merlot shade.  This line of matte shades really evokes 1950's Glam - sort of an old Hollywood feel.  They're available online and in stores at Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks; generally anywhere where Dolce & Gabbana Beauty is sold.

One of the things I like to do when looking for makeup online is to search Google Images for makeup swatches.  That way, I can see what the makeup will look like on someone of my same complexion (which in my case is Casper the Friendly Ghost).
I found a blog that has all of the lipsticks I've featured below already swatched out, so that you can see how they transfer onto the skin.  This blog also has swatches.

Overall, these are beautifully crafted, very pigmented lipsticks. They're matte but also creamy. They're long wearing (about 4 1/2 - 5 hours), but be prepared as they are hefty in price: $37 each.
