I'm trying a new site feature, the "How To" section. I last tried this out with mint green pants, in this post, which turned out to be really popular :) My hope is that seeing an outfit laid out like this will make it easier for your to go to your closet and make a cute outfit with pieces you already own.
The Basic: I chose a Gap dress. There is a similar dress here, with all sizes available. Because the basic that I chose is striped, anything else that is going to be layered over it is going to be a solid color. There's a definite art to mixing patterns - like mixing stripes and polka dots, etc., but for now, we'll keep it simple.
I've had my blog for a little over a year now, and I've never wanted to really delve into the Miami blogger world. I think I was shy for a long time, and I didn't want anyone to know I was running The Fashionable ESQ. This is a really small city - and by that I mean, everyone knows each other. I wanted to lay low for a bit and develop the blog to see where it went.
I'm over that now.
I want new Miami blogger buddies!
Below are my pictures from the event. It was really fun, and there was a huge turnout! I had no idea we had so many bloggers in Miami? There were little stations with wine, food & the best popsicles from Paulina's Pops (the coconut still makes my mouth water!) The clothes in the fashion show made me want to wipe out my bank account.
